Crisis
Counseling Services
Crisis counseling services are provided to patients referred by qualified counselors, therapists,
medical and mental health professionals. Crisis counseling services are
short term services that focus primarily on single or recurrent
problems. Crisis counseling services are not appropriate for individuals
who require intensive or long term psychiatric care. Crisis
counseling services are provided as follows

Patient
Commitment. Patients
attend a minimum of one to two counseling sessions per week for the first
month (a minimum of 4 total the first month). Patients pay for each month of services
in advance. Appointment length varies from 2 to 4 hours.

Use
of Internet & E-Mail. Patients will
be given reading assignments, referred to books and will provide daily
e-mail reports on their progress through e-mail and the internet.
Patients are encouraged to use e-mail and have internet access.

Additional
Appointments. Additional
appointments can be made as needed. Crisis counseling services
are committed to providing the level of support a patient needs.
