Crisis Counseling Services

Crisis counseling services are provided to patients referred by qualified counselors, therapists, medical and mental health professionals. Crisis counseling services are short term services that focus primarily on single or recurrent problems. Crisis counseling services are not appropriate for individuals who require intensive or long term psychiatric care. Crisis counseling services are provided as follows

  • Patient Commitment.  Patients attend a minimum of one to two counseling sessions per week for the first month (a minimum of 4 total the first month). Patients pay for each month of services in advance.  Appointment length varies from 2 to 4 hours.

  • Use of Internet & E-Mail. Patients will be given reading assignments, referred to books and will provide daily e-mail reports on their progress through e-mail and the internet. Patients are encouraged to use e-mail and have internet access.

  • Additional Appointments. Additional appointments can be made as needed. Crisis counseling services are committed to providing the level of support a patient needs.
